Step: 1. Cleansing the skin – Cleansers
Here is a global step by step routine for your skin.
1. Cleansing the skin – Cleansers
Start with a cleanser to remove dirt, oil and makeup. Gently massage the cleanser into damp skin and rinse with lukewarm water.
Cleansing is the first step in any skincare routine. It removes dirt, oil and makeup from the skin, leaving your skin feeling fresh and clean. Regular cleansing prevents clogged pores and helps reduce skin problems such as acne.
2. Targeted care – Serums
Apply a serum to cleansed skin. Choose a serum that is tailored to your skin needs, such as anti-aging or hydration. Let the serum sit on your skin for a few minutes before moving on to the next step.
Serums are concentrated formulas that penetrate deep into the skin to target specific skin concerns, such as fine lines, pigmentation or loss of elasticity. They often contain powerful active ingredients and are applied after cleansing to maximise their effectiveness.
3. Hydration, protection and repair – Creams
Apply a cream to nourish and protect the skin. Use a day cream in the morning and a night cream in the evening.
Creams hydrate and protect the skin, provide the necessary nutrition and help restore the skin barrier. They prevent dryness and irritation and can address specific skin problems such as dark spots or wrinkles.
4. UV- and light protection (Sunscreen)
Finish with a sunscreen. This will protect your skin from harmful UV rays and prevent premature skin aging. Apply generously and reapply as needed during the day.
Sun protection is essential to protect your skin from harmful UV rays. It prevents sunburn, premature aging and reduces the risk of skin cancer. Use a broad spectrum sunscreen daily to protect your skin, even on cloudy days.
