Natural Moisturizer Cream Body (dry skin)

Dry skin is a common problem caused by several factors, including adverse weather conditions, low humidity due to air conditioning or heating, frequent exposure to soap and prolonged showering. Our skin has a natural protection against these influences in the form of the epidermis, the top layer of skin that consists of a combination of fats (lipids) and proteins. The sebaceous glands also contribute to this protection by producing a layer of sebum that retains moisture and protects the skin. Unfortunately, sebum production decreases as we age, by as much as 23% per decade from the age of 20. This causes our skin to slowly dry out.

Iconic Elements Natural Moisturizer Crème

3 fold operation

The combination of glycerin, ceramide, squalane and an Iconic natural balm ensures that moisture is retained in the skin (occlusive), moisture is attracted to the top layer of skin (humectant) and the space between the upper skin cells is filled (emollient). This unique composition ensures that the skin stays hydrated for longer without feeling heavy.

The cream has a pH value that is neutral for the skin and thus restores the natural acidity of the skin. The acidity affects both the hydration and the resistance of the skin (the microbiome of the skin). More about acidity of your skin

The Natural Moisturizer Cream is ideal for people with dry and sensitive skin, and even for children. This cream is specially designed to restore the natural pH value of the skin and strengthen the skin barrier. It hydrates the skin in several ways and tackles dryness, without leaving a feeling of heaviness.

Vegetable wax (occlusive)

This wax of natural origin has the same properties as petroleum jelly, but does not feel heavy and sticky on the skin. It forms a barrier on the skin, so that it retains moisture and does not evaporate.

Glycerine (humectant)

Glycerin is a substance that attracts moisture, which makes it a humectant. As a result, it improves the hydration of the outermost layer of the skin, the stratum corneum. It also improves skin cell cohesion and reduces skin flaking.

Ceramide and Squalane (emollient)

These two ingredients are naturally present in our skin. Their function is to fill the space between the skin cells, which leads to the formation of a barrier against moisture loss. This ensures smooth and soft skin and reduces the rough and dry feeling of the skin.
